Remote Storage tab allows you to connect to your cloud storage account and manage all the storage from one place. so that you can send backups to cloud storage backup locations which is more secure.
WPvivid Backup Plugin currently supports Amazon S3, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, DigitalOcean Spaces, FTP, and SFTP in the free version.
Remote Storage tab consists of two sections:
The section provides you with the forms and options to configure and authenticate with you cloud storage, it contains:
- Seven sub-tabs for seven cloud storage supported by the plugin.
- Form where you can enter the credentials or set an alias for the storage.
- Option to set the cloud storage as the default storage.
- Button to start the authentication process.
A list displays all the cloud storage you’ve successfully added along with the basic information about the storage, including the provider and alias for the storage.
It also gives you the option to change the alias for a storage, set one as the the default storage if you have multiple storage connected, and remove a storage from the list.
